Canyon Pathways Podcast
The Canyon Pathways podcast invites men into the journey of sonship, and invests in them through creative content, honest conversation, and inspiring stories of men around the world so that the listener leaves encouraged and equipped to live like a son and lead like a father.
Our goal with the podcast is twofold: 1) to invest more deeply into our existing community and provide ongoing content and community spaces for them, and 2) to expand the community by inviting more men around the world to this global campfire.
So, welcome to the table of sonship—we’re glad you’re here!

EMPOWER Convo: Raising Sons, Not Servants w/ Joe Gachira
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode of the Canyon Pathways Podcast, host Sherman Bradley sits down with Joe Gachira, a leader, mentor, and civic-minded entrepreneur from Nairobi, Kenya. Together, they explore the deeply relational and spiritual act of empowerment—not as a top-down command, but as a call to raise others up through sonship, trust, and purposeful presence.
Joe shares personal stories of transformation—from training street-connected youth to supporting young professionals, to rethinking the power dynamics in his own leadership journey. Through the lens of Canyon Pathways and his own walk of faith, Joe shows how authentic empowerment requires humility, mutual trust, and the willingness to walk alongside rather than above.
This episode is a powerful invitation for men to move from striving to resting, from controlling to entrusting, and from managing outcomes to multiplying others.

- Community transformation starts with personal vulnerability and faithful presence.
- Training isn’t about replication—it’s about equipping others to walk their own paths.
